This is a set of three original replacement filters for the Extract-All Salon Pure Air 2 SPA2, a device designed to not only act as a vacuum for dust particulates emitted during manicures but effectively adsorb and eliminate fumes with its innovative three-stage filtration technology.Daily, nail technicians are exposed to toxic chemicals present in common nail care products, including nail polish and remover, nail primer, fingernail glue, and nail hardener. These fumes as well as the suspended chemical powder particles, gel powder, and nail dust are known to cause respiratory harm to these professionals.These replacement filters of the Salon Pure Air 2 SPA2 are crucial in helping remove dust particulates as well as effectively adsorb and eliminate toxic fumes. Our package includes1 x Pleated Pre-filter, 1 x Primary Rigid Cell Filter, and 1 x Multi-Density Activated Carbon Polyester Panel Filter.The combination of these three filters can adsorb fumes of chemicals like ethyl methacrylate (EMA), titanium dioxide, benzoyl peroxide, methacrylic acid, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), and acetone.Filter 1: The MERV 10 pleated pre-filter has a low resistance to airflow & a high dust holding capacity. It removes larger particles like dust, chemical powders, nail fillings, clippings, etc. Replace this filter every 3-4 Months. Filter 2: The MERV 14 Primary Rigid Cell Filter traps the smallest particles like bacteria, tobacco smoke, and burning wood. These particles are in the .03-1.0-micron group. MERV 14 filters are capable of trapping 90% or more of particles in the 1.0-10.0 micron range.Filter 3: The multi-density polyester panel final filter with Activated Carbon catches the residual dust while the activated carbon adsorbs odors, vapors, and gasses emitted by toxic chemicals. Replace the Activated Carbon Filter every 4-6 months.

• FIRST FILTER: The first is the MERV 10 pleated pre-filter which has a low resistance to airflow & a high dust holding capacity. This first layer removes large particulates like dust, chemical powders, nail fillings, clippings, etc. The pre-filters' primary purpose is to increase the lifetime of the subsequent filters. A MERV 10 efficiency provides the best balance between restriction and capture rate. Replace this filter every 3-4 months.
• SECOND FILTER: The second filter in the Salon Pure Air 1 is a MERV 14 Primary Rigid Cell Filter. Filters with a MERV 14 value are the most restrictive and can trap the smallest particles like bacteria, tobacco smoke, and burning wood. These particles are in the .03-1.0-micron group. MERV 14 filters are capable of trapping 90% or more of particles in the 1.0-10.0 micron range.
• THIRD FILTER: The third one is the replacement multi-density polyester panel final filter with Activated Carbon. While the Polyester filters fine residual dust, the Activated Carbon adsorbs odors, vapors, and gasses from smoke, cooking, chemicals, paints, and other volatile organic compounds. This Final Filter normally only needs to be changed every 4-6 months or more.
